Tap into your inner strength
Are parts of you longing for more inner trust? The process of co-creating a holding space with a curious professional can lead to profound healing, sense of clarity, and connection to oneself &others. My role is to be a compassionate witness in honoring your lived experiences, while helping you peel back some of the protective layers to reveal your inner strength and wisdom.
My experience includes supporting those with histories of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, complex family dynamics, PCOS, PMDD. I have a specialized interest in working those who identify with being highly sensitive.
My approach to therapy is holistic, intersectional, and trauma informed. I integrate mindfulness and somatic -based practices to support individuals experiencing chronic anxiety and distress. My approach is informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy. I am a Level 1 trained IFS therapist. I earned my Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Chicago. Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I supported young people on the South and West sides of Chicago as a school social worker.
Together we can build a safe container to be with and move through emotions, challenges, and successes. There’s even room for play and humor in the process. In a collaborative & nurturing space, we can be present to exploring experiences, processing feelings, and growing self-compassion.
I am licensed to provide therapy in the state of Illinois, including the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs. I welcome all inquiries - please feel free to reach out to me via the "Contact" button above for a free consultation call. All inquiries are welcome.
